A metaphor is euphamism
Changed and changed through Constant revision
More polite and tasteful to the tongue
Compares and reveals as it is sung
Like or as is not the design
Yet drawn together it is redefined
A love of poetry is a resonating passion
Written in lines with rhymes of the greatest of fashion
Happiness written in compressed statement
With sound devices for great compliment
Metaphors and similies begin the healing
Of my soul to regain the feeling
Compose a poem of perfect personification
And your heart is filled with instant gratification
